Our promises
Four words.
Four promises.
To every kitchen we supply, we commit to just four things: seasonal, transparent, simple, real.
01 · 時令
Seasonal
"I plant beans below the southern hill — the weeds grow thick, the bean seedlings sparse."
We follow the 24 solar terms (節氣). Spring shoots, summer gourds, autumn roots, winter storage greens. Food has its own time — we respect that, and we don't paper over out-of-season gaps with greenhouse forcing or imports.
- Main box rotates weekly with the 節氣
- When extreme weather affects a variety, we tell you honestly — no quiet substitutions
- We ship what's in season, not what's on a "year-round menu"
02 · 透明
Transparent
"Paths criss-crossing, the calls of chickens and dogs carrying across."
Every box ships with a hand-written chronicle. Farmer's name, farm location, harvest date, the weather that shaped the week's produce. You know what you're using, where it came from, and when it was picked.
- One chronicle per box (bilingual on request)
- Farmer name, farm, harvest date written by hand
- Partner restaurants can request a co-branded version for diners
03 · 簡單
Simple
"Plain as anyone else's."
No long-term contracts, no minimum order, no annual fee. Order when you want. Stop when you want. Real good food doesn't need a contract to keep you in the door — if our produce or service isn't right for you, you should be able to walk away.
- Minimum order: one box
- Weekly opt-in / opt-out
- Unhappy with a box? Same-day email, we swap or refund.
04 · 真實
Real
"Old and young alike — all at peace, content."
We don't pretend to be a big distributor. Tou Yuen Coi Gei is a solo-founder project in Hong Kong — working directly with a handful of local farmers, hand-packing every box, hand-writing every chronicle. Small scale, full attention.
- Solo founder · no sales team
- Direct relationships with 3–5 local farms
- Hand-packed · hand-written · personally delivered
We don't make any other promises.
Just these four, repeated, every week.
